Adele has worked with Fortune 500 companies regional businesses, non-profits, associations and high-profile individuals, and Adele makes a point of working very closely with all of them, providing strategic counsel and day-to-day management oversight.

Adele’s core expertise includes crisis communications, media relations and corporate public relations. She also does all of the agency’s media training, preparing some of the most recognized names in business for interviews with journalists, analysts and other audiences.

As a recognized authority in the public relations field, Adele is a regular contributor to the Wall Street Journal’s Crisis of the Week Column. She has been quote in Forbes, Washington Business Journal, PR Week and the Washington Post and has appeared on CNN Headline News, NPR and Fox Business Network Happy Hour.

Earlier in her career, Adele worked for TSI Communications, a Madison Avenue PR Firm, specializing in technology. She also worked for Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, where she managed clients such as DuPont, Maxwell House Coffee, Select Comfort and Yum Brands. Adele’s early years as a journalist for George Magazine and The Asbury Park Press helped shape her expertise in media relations.

Adele is on the board of several other area nonprofits. Her policy is take on one pro-bono client per quarter, such as the 5k Colon Cancer Walk and the Junior League of Washington. She also enjoys sharing her knowledge through speaking engagements and has given talks and trainings for high-profile organizations including ASAE, Forbes, Inc. Magazine and the Global Social Media Conferences.

Adele is actually short for Adelgisa, an Italian family name that has been passed on through several generations of Gambardella’s. Not surprisingly, Adele’s earliest childhood memory is the aroma of her mother’s homemade pasta sauce, and Rome remains her favorite place. Another top travel destination is Puerto Rico—Adele can tip you off to a spot where you can swim with bioluminescent microorganisms, which she compares to “swimming with fireflies.” When she’s not working over the weekend, Adele likes to spend time with her children, Sienna and Christian.

She also enjoys cooking, swimming and watching classic films with her husband Erik.
